Privacy Policy

I. General provisions

  1. The Privacy Policy defines how the Users’ personal data necessary to provide services electronically via the www.polandnile.pl website (hereinafter referred to as the Website) are collected, processed and stored.
  2. The Website collects only personal data necessary for the provision and development of the services offered therein.
  3. Personal data collected through the Website are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

III. Purpose of collecting personal data

  1. Personal data is used for the purpose of:
    1. registering an account and verifying the User’s identity,
    2. enable logging in to the Website,
    3. display orders and offers of Users,
    4. handling inquiries through the form,
    5. performance of the contract for services and e-services,
    6. communication with the User (for example, the registration form),
    7. sending the newsletter (after the User agrees to receive it),
    8. provide community services,
    9. promotion of the Administrator’s offer,
    10. marketing, remarketing, affiliation,
    11. personalization of the Website for Users,
    12. analytical and statistical activities,
    13. debt collection,
    14. establishing, pursuing or defending against claims.
  2. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to conclude a contract or use other functionalities of the Website.
  3. The website performs the functions of obtaining information about users and their behavior in the following way:
    1. by voluntarily entering data in the forms, which are entered into the Operator’s systems,
    2. by storing cookies on end devices.

IV. Type of personal data processed

The Controller may process the User’s personal data: country of registration of the Company, Company name, Tax Identification Number, Address of the Company’s registered office, telephone number, e-mail address, the Company’s website, a valid document confirming registration and the status of the Company.

V. Your rights and additional information on how your data is used

  1. In some situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients, if it is necessary to perform the contract concluded with you or to perform the obligations incumbent on the Administrator. This applies to the following audiences:
    1. authorized employees and associates who use the data to achieve the purpose of the website.
  2. Your personal data processed by the Administrator no longer than it is necessary to perform the related activities specified in separate regulations (e.g. on accounting). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
  3. You have the right to request from the Administrator:
    1. access to personal data concerning you,
    2. rectify them,
    3. Remove
    4. restriction of processing,
    5. and data portability.
  4. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of exercising the legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling, while the right to object will not be able to be exercised if there are important legitimate grounds for the processing, overriding interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, investigation or defense of claims.
  5. The Administrator’s actions may be complained to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to operate the Website.
  7. Activities involving automated decision-making, including profiling, may be undertaken in relation to you in order to provide services under the concluded contract and for the purpose of direct marketing by the Administrator.
  8. Personal data may be transferred from third countries within the meaning of the data protection regulations.

V. Cookies

  1. The website collects information using cookies – session, permanent and third-party cookies.
  2. Collecting cookies supports the correct provision of services on the Website and serves statistical purposes.
  3. The user can determine the scope of access of cookies to their device in the browser settings.

VI. Automated decision-making and profiling

  1. Users’ data cannot be processed in an automated manner so that any decisions could be made against them as a result.
  2. Users’ data may be profiled in order to adjust the content and personalize the offer after they have given their consent.

VII. Final provisions

  1. The Administrator has the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy, while the Users’ rights will not be limited.
  2. Information about the changes will appear in the form of a message available on the Website.
  3. In matters not covered by this Privacy Policy, the provisions of the GDPR and the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
